Due to stubble burning, 129 farmers registration block: Awareness campaign is also being ineffective, deprived of benefits of government scheme for next 3 years

Farmers have been continuously being made aware through various mediums about the harmful effects of crop residue burning on soil fertility and damage to the environment. In order to prevent the side effects of crop residue burning, the farmers doing such work are deprived of the benefits of any kind of scheme of the department. The registration of farmers who burn crop residue is blocked, as a result of which they have to be deprived of the benefits of various departmental schemes for three years.

To prevent this, such farmers are being identified continuously in the district. In the current Kharif season, the registration of 129 farmers who burnt crop residues in the district has been blocked so far. Because of which all these farmers will be deprived of the benefits of departmental schemes for the next 3 years.

4 in Ven block, 33 in Chandi, 6 in Harnaut, 2 in Hilsa, 23 in Islampur, 23 in Karay Parshurai, 7 in Nagarnausa, 5 in Noorsarai, 18 in Parwalpur, 2 in Rahui, one in Silav and 5 in Tharthari block. Farmers are included.
