The team of dog squad reached Rajgir on Friday to solve the mystery of the murder of Forester Rampravesh Ram of Nalanda Forest Department. During the investigation, the sniffer dog ran to the Baba Jhunki temple on the banks of the railway line. Then he stopped after reaching the house of the deceased via road. This sequence was repeated three to four times. Each time the dog squad team was again stopping by the same route till the house of the deceased.
Giving this information, Rajgir SHO cum Inspector Mohd Mushtaq said that a thorough investigation is being done into the incident. Apart from the investigation done by the dog squad team, the police will scan the CCTV camera footage from the nearby areas. He further informed that intensive research is being done on the incident on technical and human basis. The matter will be dealt with soon.
Let us tell you that on Thursday night, 64-year-old Rampravesh Ram, a resident of Rajgir Jagdev Nagar, was killed by unknown criminals on the way to Jagdevnagar near the railway track in front of the running room of the railway station premises located in the police station area.
