After Bachwada block area, now in Bhagwanpur police station area too, man-eating dogs mauled 50-year-old Vimla Devi to death on Monday. The deceased woman has been identified as Vimla Devi, wife of Ram Vinay Paswan, a resident of Maheshpur village under Bhagwanpur police station area. As soon as the news of the same death was received, there was chaos among the family members. The son of the deceased woman told that my mother had gone to cut grass in Bahiyar. At the same time half a dozen dogs attacked him. After that, by scratching the woman, he started making his morsel.
Farmers working in the fields in Bahiyar ran with sticks to the sound of women screaming in pain. In the meantime, the woman was seriously injured by stray dogs, people hurriedly picked her up from the field and brought her to Sadar Hospital in Begusarai for treatment, where she died late in the evening.
