Diwali 2022: Greater Noida and Noida have also been colored in the color of Diwali, the festival of lights. From all the intersections of Greater Noida and Noida to the authority office, all the places have been decorated with colorful lights. Fountains have been made operational at all the intersections, due to which the beauty of these intersections has increased a lot. The people passing through these intersections are feeling very happy.
Greater Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari had given instructions to decorate the Greater Noida Authority’s office, all squares, parks and other public places with lights in view of Diwali. Following this, the Electrical Engineering Cell and the Horticulture Department of the Project Department together have decorated the entire city with colorful lights.
Greater Noida’s roundabouts were decorated with lights
Adorned with colorful lights, the look of the Greater Noida Authority is made on sight. The beauty of the square has doubled due to the fountains coming out amidst colorful lights at Pari Chowk. All the major squares, including Ghantaghar, four idol roundabout, one statue roundabout, are also decorated with colorful lights. All the fountains installed across the city have been repaired and made operational. In collaboration with many private institutions, the roundabouts of Greater Noida have been decorated with lights.
Along with the roundabouts, the poles at their four corners are also decorated with lights. Special arrangements have also been made for lighting in parks and green belts. The CEO had appealed to decorate all educational institutions, industries and commercial establishments with lights, due to which private institutions are also seeing a different kind of lights.
The CEO had instructed the authority’s electro-engineering team to take stock of all the places decorated with lights after dark. Due to this, two teams are taking stock of the entire city under the leadership of senior managers Gurvinder Singh and Utsav Kumar.
