Devotees reach Chhath Ghat by crossing Chachari bridge: Ghat is built in Bakulhara on the banks of river Bangdi, it is constructed by Shramdan

Even today the people of Motihari go to the ghat with the help of Chachari bridge to celebrate Chhath, the great festival of folk faith. Many times the villagers appealed to the public representatives from the government department regarding this, but no one is going to listen to their demand. As a result of which all the Chhath Ghats come and go after constructing the Chachri bridge with all the shramdan. This Chachari bridge is of the Bangri river passing between Bakulhara and Laxmipur of Banjariya block area.

Till date the bridge has not been constructed on the Bangri river that divides the two villages, due to which the people here have to face great difficulties. To go across the river from this side, people build Chachri bridge with shramdan and move. However, many people have been injured after falling from this Chachri bridge. But they have no other way. To cover a distance of just 1 kilometer, one has to travel around 10 kilometres.

More than 700 people come to the ghat to celebrate the great festival of Chhath.

The people of Laxmipur and Bakulhara village, situated on both the banks of the Bangdi river, make Chhath Ghat towards Bakulhara. Where the people of both the villages celebrate Chhath festival together. But due to the passing of the Bangri river between the two villages, people face problems. Due to which the people of both the villages together make movement of Chachri bridge.

The distance of Ramgarhwa gets reduced due to the creation of Chachri Pool.

Villager Krishna Kashyap winter recorded, villagers told that there is a lot of trouble due to lack of bridge on the river. As a result, the villagers work with mutual cooperation by building a chachar bridge. With the construction of a bridge on this river, the distance of 12 km Ramgarhwa will be reduced, many times from all the officials to the public representatives, but no one took care of it.
