Devotees arrived in Rohtas amid heavy rain: despite water logging, crowds in pandals, large number of women also visited

Heavy rains started in Rohtas district on Tuesday evening itself. Durga Puja festival was seen to be disturbed due to heavy rain on the Navami day of Dussehra. It continued to rain rook-yak. Heavy rains led to waterlogging in most of the puja pandals. But even rain and water logging could not stop the steps of the devotees.

As soon as the rain subsided, the devotees went out to see the mother. At many places, through waterlogging, reached the mother’s darshan. There has also been heavy water logging in front of the worship pandal that has a replica of the famous Burj Khalifa on the Station Road of Nokha Block Headquarters. But the devotees are going to see the mother crossing that water logging. Among the devotees, women and children are also reaching the mother’s darshan due to waterlogging.

At the same time, there has been heavy rain in Sasaram. Even after the rain had subsided, the drizzle continued. But in the midst of drizzle and water logging, devotees are reaching Rauja Road and other worship pandals to see the mother.

Festival affected by cyclonic rain

In Navratri in the district, on the Navami Tithi, devotees go out to see the mother in most pandals. The weather was clear here till evening even after rain was reported in different parts of the state. But from four o’clock it started raining heavily.

Even after the rain had subsided, the drizzle continued. There was disturbance in such Durga Puja festival. There is desperation among the food shops and toys sellers near the pandals. All preparations were in vain, they are still praying for the rain to stop.
