NSUI District President Nishant Yadav, who is leading the protest, said that empty liquor bottles were found in the college last year as well. This time it is too much. The consignment of liquor is being recovered from the place where knowledge should be distributed to the students.

Let us inform that the team of the excise department raided the BNMU campus on Saturday night and recovered 6 cartons of liquor. One of the accused was also arrested from the spot, while the other accused absconded.

Product Superintendent Surendra Prasad said that 101 bottles of foreign liquor in 6 cartons were recovered in the raid conducted on the BNMU campus on the basis of secret information on Saturday night. Rajeev Kumar, son of employee Jaikrishna Yadav, has been arrested and sent to jail in the case, while the other son Rajesh Kumar is absconding.
