Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has ended his membership of Parliament after being sentenced to two years by the Surat Sessions Court. Now a notice has also been sent to them to vacate the government bungalow. In such a situation, the Congress has now made a big plan to encircle the ruling party. The Congress was scheduled to start the ‘Save Democracy Torch Peace March’ at 7 pm on Tuesday. But the police barricaded the Red Fort area. Several Congress leaders who had gathered to protest were detained.

Several Congress leaders, including former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat, were detained by the Delhi Police on Tuesday when they arrived to participate in the ‘Loktantra Bachao Mashal Shanti March’. All of them had gathered near the Red Fort to protest against the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from the Parliament. In fact, the party’s ‘Loktantra Bachao Mashal Shanti March’ was scheduled to start from the Red Fort at 7 pm but the police barricaded the Red Fort area. BRS MP Keshav Rao was seen at the protest site along with several Congress leaders.

The Congress had planned a protest march to the Town Hall in Old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk. In which there was to be a protest against the disqualification of the Parliament of Rahul Gandhi and the security of democracy. The demonstration was part of a March-long protest program against Rahul Gandhi’s two-year sentence and his disqualification from Parliament. In which Congress MPs were asked to gather at the Red Fort during the march with burning torches in their hands. But the police stopped them before reaching the protest site.
