In Bhagalpur district, a 12-year-old son, who had gone to build a ghat for the mother for Chhath Puja, died due to drowning in the river, the mother was preparing for Kharna Puja in the house and on hearing the news of her son’s death, all the preparations were done in the house. It remained silent and the moment of happiness turned into mourning in six seconds.

The 12-year-old son of Jago Mandal, a resident of Jalim Tola, Manish Kumar, who went to make a ghat for Chhath fast near Jalim Tola Marangag Ghat of Mohanpur Madhuban Panchayat of Bakharpur OP area of ​​Pirpainti block of Bhagalpur district, died due to drowning in the river. Local divers tried hard after the incident but the body could not be recovered.

Mother Anju Devi was preparing for the Kharna of Chhath fast at home. The son had gone along with the children of the neighborhood to make the raw ghat a ladder for the mother for the Chhath fast. Did not know about the pit, died due to drowning. On getting the information, the nearby divers reached and made a lot of effort to search. But could not find it.

After the incident, the relatives including the mother and father are in a bad condition. After taking care of the matter, BDO cum CO Chandan Kumar Chakraborty said that the benefit under the disaster will be given to the family of the deceased.
