Coronavirus Update: After 2,060 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people in the country increased to 4,46,30,888, while the death toll due to 10 more patients died due to infection rose to 5,28,905. According to the Health Ministry data, the number of patients under treatment has increased to 26,834 which is 0.06 percent of the total cases. According to the ministry, the national recovery rate from Kovid-19 is 98.75 percent. An increase of 209 cases was registered in the number of patients under treatment in the last 24 hours. Due to the death of 10 people due to infection, the death toll has increased to 5,28,905.

10 people died due to infection

The 10 people who have died due to infection include four patients whose names have been added to the list of patients who lost their lives due to the global pandemic by Kerala, re-matching the death toll due to infection. According to the data, the daily infection rate is 1.86 percent, while the weekly infection rate is 1.02 percent.

Mortality rate is 1.19 percent

A total of 4,40,75,149 patients have become infection free in the country so far and the death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.19 percent. At the same time, 219.33 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
