In this regard, on the instructions of the Director General of Bihar Museum, contact was established with all such institutions of the country which have conservation labs. That’s why Satish Pandey, head of Art Conservation, was earlier invited to the Bihar Museum for necessary suggestions in this regard. Looking at the collection, a suggestion was made for the establishment of Conservation Lab. Along with this, the establishment of conservation was also discussed. In the light of the suggestions given by him, an agreement was reached between the office bearers of Bihar Museum, Patna on the establishment of Conservation Lab in Bihar Museum, Patna.
Various points were discussed for the establishment of Conservation Lab. During this, a detailed discussion was held by the Director General Bihar Museum about the artefacts kept for display in the museum. During the discussions, an agreement was reached. Along with this, an agreement was signed between Anjani Kumar Singh, Director General of Bihar Museum and Lily Pandey, Joint Secretary, Indian Museum Institute, Government of India, for the establishment of Conservation Lab. Under the partnership between Bihar Museum, Patna and Government of India, it was agreed to organize various educational activities. Along with this, these distinguished guests were also taken on a tour of the galleries of Bihar Museum, Patna.
