Hyderabad News: Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday attacked the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the BJP in Telangana. He alleged that the ruling TRS in Telangana and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party at the Center are two sides of the same coin, one being the Sultan in Delhi and the other being the Nizam in Hyderabad. Former Union Minister Ramesh said the time has come for Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s proposed national organization ‘Bharat Rashtra Samithi’ (BRS) to become VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme). “This (Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra) is a message not only for the BJP and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), but also for the TRS, which has the same face as the BJP. BJP and TRS are two sides of the same coin. If you have a Sultan in Delhi, you have a Nizam in Hyderabad.
no difference between sultan and nizam
Targeting Rao, Ramesh said that there is no difference between a Sultan and a Nizam. He said that therefore, the message for TRS in Telangana is that it is not time for BRS but to take VRS. He said that there are three things which are worrying people all over India today, issues like inflation, unemployment, GST, monopoly of one or two big companies and increasing economic inequality. He said the second concern is social polarization as the society is allegedly being divided on the basis of religion, caste, language, food and dress. The third concern, he said, is political over centralisation.
Will there be elections in ‘TRS’ and ‘BJP’?
Ramesh said the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra is not a ‘Mann Ki Baat Yatra’ in which long speeches are delivered, but a ‘listening journey’ where people’s voices are heard. Responding to a question, he claimed that Congress is the only party which conducts elections to elect its president. “Will there be elections in TRS? Will there be elections in BJP?
Journey will start again after two days
Ramesh said the ongoing ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ will be stopped for two days (October 4 and 5) on account of Dussehra and will resume from Mandya in Karnataka from October 6 and Congress President Sonia Gandhi will also participate in it. expected to take. The Yatra will enter Telangana on October 24 and will cover a distance of 360 km in the state. Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh was also present at the press conference. He ruled out the possibility of any other party or front forming the government at the Centre, other than the Congress or the BJP.
