Sanatan Deeksha Festival
Haridwar: On the occasion of Swami Ramdev Maharaj’s 29th retirement day, under the aegis of Patanjali Sannyasashram, a ten-day Sanyas Deeksha Festival is being organized from March 22 to March 31, 2023, in the Chaitra Pratipada of the Hindu New Year, in which about 40 learned sisters and 60 learned brothers Swami on Ram Navami Will take initiation from Ramdev. Along with this, about 500 enlightened brothers and sisters will take the initiation of celibacy from Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj. On this occasion, Pujya Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, while addressing the brothers and sisters being initiated into the sannyas tradition, said, “The highest flower in the Vedic tradition is sannyas. Sannyas should blossom from within and the sannyasin should feel that he is devoting himself to the service of creation in the form of God. More than 100 scholars and scholars will take Sannyas Deeksha from Patanjali Yogpeeth and more than 15000 youths have shown interest to become Sannyas, in which 500 enlightened brothers and sisters will take Deeksha of Brahmacharya from Acharya ji, this is a thrilling golden moment. Only Pujya Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj can do this miracle.
What did Swami Ramdev say?
In the program, Swami Ramdev said, “On the day of Ramnavami, with the completion of the Mahaparayana Yagya of the four Vedas, keeping the prestige of Ramrajya and the pride of the Hindu nation in your heart and establishing Sanatan Dharma as Yugadharma and Vishwadharma, hundreds of new- The ascetics will be initiated into the sannyas tradition of our forefathers, sages and sages. These disinterested scholars and learned brothers and sisters, having mastered Ashtadhyayi, Vyakarana, Vedas, Vedangas, Upanishads, will be determined for the global prestige of Yogadharma, Rishidharma, Veddharma, Sanatan Dharma. This will give energy to the campaign to preserve Indian Sanatan culture.
‘Inauguration of Ram temple in January next year’
He further said, “In Patanjali, there is no difference between male and female, caste, creed, creed, religion and the narrowness of community. Here, all the disinterested scholars and learned brothers and sisters will unfurl the flag of Sanatan Dharma all over the world after being initiated into this historical divine-grand sannyas diksha. This will bring prestige to Ram Rajya. Along with the Ram temple, this country’s national temple should also be made. People’s character should be built, personality should be built and a divine leadership should be built. Ram Mandir will be inaugurated in January next year and Article 370 has also ended. Now two tasks are left – Uniform Civil Code and population control work, this too must be done by 2024.

In the program, Acharya Balkrishna Maharaj said, “Many Vedic Gurukulas are being run by Patanjali to keep the cultural heritage of Satya Sanatan Vedic tradition intact. In those Gurukuls, hundreds of brothers and sisters from many communities and provinces are being prepared as scholars and scholars capable of deep study of ancient scriptures, without the narrowness of caste, creed, creed, religion, community, who, after being initiated into the tradition of sannyas, will serve the nation.
