Collision between bike and tractor in Samastipur: Two bike riders died, 3 injured

In Samastipur, there was a collision between a bike and a tractor near a private hospital on Tajpur Mahua path of Tajpur police station area of ​​​​the district on Saturday evening. In this, two people riding the bike died on the spot. Whereas, 3 people were injured in this incident. The injured have been admitted to Tajpur Referral Hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Rajeev Ram (21 years) son of Devan Ram and Roshan Kumar (20 years) son of Ashok Ram, resident of Sirsia Harijan Colony of Bangra police station area. Local Dinesh Mahato and rural doctor Dr Dinesh Kumar have been told in the same injured.

People told that Devan Ram’s son Rajiv died on the spot while Ashok Ram’s son Roshan Kumar was admitted to the referral hospital for treatment where he died during treatment.

In a head-on collision, the tractor went out of control and entered a tea snack shop on the side of the road. Where three people having breakfast were injured after being hit by a tractor. On the other hand, in protest against the incident, the agitated people blocked the road demanding compensation. Traffic has come to a standstill on Tajpur Mahua road due to road jam. The police, who reached the information, are trying to convince the people, although people were standing on the road till the news was dispatched.

SHO Brajkishore Singh said that the bodies of both the deceased have been confiscated by the police and preparations are being made to send them to Samastipur for post-mortem. The tractor and bike have also been confiscated. The injured are being treated at the referral hospital.
