While there, he died during treatment. The robbery incident took place on 29 November 2022.

5 criminals had come to rob the shop

Significantly, the shopkeepers of Soni Fancy Jewelers were waiting for the customers after opening the shop near Neem Chowk of Tajpur police station area of ​​Samastipur district. Meanwhile, 5 criminals came there riding on two bikes and tried to loot by brandishing pistols, however, seeing the shopkeeper showing courage and taking out his licensed pistol, the miscreants got scared and started running away from there. The five miscreants fled in different directions, during which people caught two of the miscreants. On the other hand, a miscreant running near Gandhi Chowk had a pistol in his hand.

While the cloth shopkeeper Mohammad Ashraf went forward to catch him, the miscreant opened fire on him, injuring him seriously. In a hurry, the local people admitted Mohammad Ashraf to Samastipur Sadar Hospital, where after first aid he was referred to PMCH Patna for better treatment. Mohammad Ashraf died on Wednesday late evening, which created chaos in the whole area and the family members were in bad condition by crying.
