The investigation has been completed regarding the allegations of the arrested chief in the illegal sand mining case in Akbarpur, Nawada. In the investigation, Akbarpur SHO has got a clean chit and the allegation has been termed as baseless. SP Dr. Gaurav Mangla has given this information. He said that on October 16, Ramswaroop Yadav, the head of Budhua Panchayat, was arrested on charges of illegal sand mining.
After this the accused was arrested in Hajat. After sometime the accused complained of uneasiness. He was then placed under the watch of the watchman in Sirista. There was no assault or misbehavior with the accused during this period. The situation has become clear in the investigation of CCTV installed in the police station. The allegations have also been found baseless in the medical examination. The SP said that outraged by the arrest, the chief made false allegations. He is involved in illegal mining and made such an allegation with the aim of putting pressure on the police.

It is worth mentioning that after the arrest, the chief, who reached the Sadar Hospital in police custody, had made many serious allegations against the station head. It was said that after being arrested, he was beaten up badly and made him drink urine on asking for water. Regarding the allegation, on the instructions of the SP, Rajauli SDPO investigated the whole matter and gave a clean chit.

The SP said that the chief is domineering. Already half a dozen criminal cases are registered against him in Akbarpur police station. Cases are registered on serious charges like murder, Arms Act, attempt to murder, Explosives Act.
