Child commits suicide after being reprimanded in Sheikhpura: hanged himself, father scolded him at home

A 13-year-old minor boy committed suicide by hanging himself with a noose after hearing a minor scolding by the family members on Wednesday in Afridih village of Mahuli OP area under Ariyari block of Sheikhpura district. After being hanged, the child had fallen in the room of the house. When the family members reached home after working from the farm.

Then seeing the child unconscious in the room of the house, the family members got scared. After the incident, people started crying in the boy’s house. Then the crowd of the neighborhood gathered near his house. Later, after picking him up at home, he was hurriedly brought to Sadar Hospital Sheikhpura for treatment. Where the child was declared dead by the doctors. In this regard, Mahuli OP President cum Police Under Inspector Ranjit Mishra told that the boy was reprimanded by his father for something.

Due to this the child committed suicide. He told that after this incident, mourning spread in the entire village. While the family members are in bad condition while crying. Later, the family members took the dead body and left for the last rites.
