Caste based calculation in Bihar from February 2023: 13 agendas stamped in cabinet, dearness allowance of pay scale also increased

Bihar cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. A total of 13 agendas have been stamped in this meeting. The deadline for caste-based census has been extended in the cabinet meeting. Apart from this, a separate fund has also been released for caste based census.

At the same time, in this cabinet, dearness allowance has been increased for the employees of the fifth and sixth central pay scales of Bihar. The fifth pay scale will be given 15 percent more dearness allowance. At the same time, 9 percent dearness allowance will be given more to the former employees and employees getting the sixth pay scale.

Caste based census deadline extended

The deadline for caste-based enumeration has been extended in the cabinet meeting. The new deadline has been given from February 2023 to May 2023. At the same time, the cabinet announced to give 396 percent dearness allowance instead of 381 percent with effect from July 1, 2022, to state government government servants, pensioners and family pensioners receiving salary pension in the fifth central pay scale. The cabinet has approved 212 percent dearness allowance/relief in place of 203% with effect from July 1, 2022, to government servants, pensioners, family pensioners of the state government receiving pay pension of the sixth central pay scale.

The deadline for Bihar caste based census 2022 has been extended in the cabinet. Now the calculation will be done from February 2023 to May 2023. Administrative approval has been given to Beltron (Bihar State Electronics Development Corporation) to pay estimated expenditure of Rs.

In the cabinet meeting, under the prohibition department, Rs. 25 crore for expenditure on motor boat, rental of hired vehicles, construction of new check post, mobile hand scanner and toll free number of call center, promotion of prohibition of alcohol. Contingency fund is given. To check illegal mining in Patna, Bhojpur Saran and other districts, an advance of Rs 5 crore has been sanctioned from the Contingency Fund for purchase of high speed motor boats, chains and other equipment.

Funding based on population

Administrative approval for the implementation of the Atal Renewal and Urban Transformation Mission scheme in all the municipal bodies of Bihar, the formation of state level high power steering committee and state level technical committee has been approved.

26 hundred 20 crore and its proportionate 75 percent of the project cost of the state for cities with a population of more than 10 lakh, two third of the project cost for cities with a population of 1 lakh to 10 lakh and less than one lakh population. In-principle approval has been given for expenditure of 50% of the project cost for the city.
