Case of doctor beating in Supaul: Doctor said – I am scared of working here, talking to CS

OPD and emergency services have been disrupted in the health center for the last 12 days in connection with the beating of a doctor at Pratapganj Primary Health Center in Supaul district. The doctors posted at Pratapganj Primary Health Center say that they are so scared that they are scared to do their duty.

However, in this regard, the medical in-charge of the health center has informed the civil surgeon and demanded the early arrest of the accused. In fact, let us inform you that on the evening of September 26, at around 6 pm, 45-year-old Misa Devi, wife of Dilip Mishra, a resident of Kalikapur, was brought to the Primary Health Center Pratapganj after biting a poisonous snake in the village, in view of the serious condition of the doctor posted. had referred the female patient, after which the family members started a ruckus.

Gajendra Kumar Himanshu, a doctor posted at Pratapganj Health Center, was brutally thrashed by family members and villagers. In this case, an FIR was also lodged by the doctor at Pratapganj police station. But 12 days have passed since the incident. So far, angry doctors have stopped OPD service and emergency service due to non-arrest of the accused in this case. The doctors posted at Pratapganj Primary Health Center clearly say that we are scared to do duty there.

The doctors posted in the health center are being beaten up every day. Despite this, neither prevention is being done nor is the security system being perfected. In such a situation, all the doctors decided that OPD service and emergency service would be disrupted.

In this episode, OPD service and emergency service were also disrupted on Friday. All the doctors of Pratapganj health center and the medical in-charge of the health center, Dr. Harendra Sahu reached Supaul Civil Surgeon’s office and demanded legal action in the matter. Here, Civil Surgeon Mihir Kumar Verma was busy trying to convince all the doctors in the case.

The Civil Surgeon has given assurance to the doctors in this regard. Soon the demand will be fulfilled in the case. Pratapganj Police Station President Prabhakar was questioned in this matter. So one accused related to this case has been arrested and sent to jail in judicial custody. Information has been given about the raids going on for the rest of the accused.
