Case of beating with MU girl students: Vice Chancellor gave clarification in Gaya – Police is investigating the matter and taking action

The Vice-Chancellor has given a clarification in the case of assault, pulling hair and clothes with the students of MU who were protesting at Magadha University in Gaya. He first said that there was no misbehavior with the girl students. But when he was told that the video of Batmiji done with the girl students is going viral.

He said it was wrong. This should not happen with university girls. He said that he has heard that the girl students have lodged a complaint with the MU police station. If any incident has happened to them, then the police should investigate the matter and take strict action against the guilty. We will cooperate with the police.

He also alleged that the protesting students had attacked our vehicle by breaking tree branches. With great difficulty, we were pulled out of their midst. In response to the question of why the students were doing this, he said that they are being instigated under the conspiracy.

In fact, on Saturday evening, the students of MU Physiotherapy were agitating for the demand of conducting the examination. They wanted to meet the VC and the registrar. But they were not being allowed to meet.

On this, the protesters decided to stop the registrar’s vehicle and talk and tried to stop his vehicle. During this, he was assaulted by the university personnel and his men with the girl students. The students agitating against this had lodged a complaint with the MU police station.
