The ATM card of two youths got stuck in the ATM machine of Axis Bank located near Moti Bigha of Nawada Nagar police station area, after which illegal withdrawal of 65 hundred rupees was made from the account of a youth. At that time the ATM machine was in a broken state. From the looks of it, it looks like someone has tampered with the machine before. However, after the ATM got stuck, both the youths went to Axis Bank and contacted the manager there and told the whole thing. After which both the youths were told by the manager to first shut down their ATM online.
Anand Kumar, son of Satyendra Singh, a resident of Gonama, said that he had gone to withdraw money from the ATM of Axis Bank located in Moti Bigha. After inserting the ATM card in the machine, the card got stuck, after which I also pressed some buttons of the ATM. After a while, an illegal withdrawal of Rs 6500 was done automatically from my account. After which went to the main branch of Axis Bank, told the whole thing to the manager there and got his ATM closed. The young man told that some part of the ATM was broken. Looks like someone has tampered with the ATM.
The same second victim, Mithilesh Kumar, son of Vishnudev Yadav, a resident of Gopal Nagar, told that he had gone to withdraw money from the Axis Bank ATM. As soon as the ATM card was inserted in the machine, the card got stuck in the machine itself. After which I did not tamper with the machine and immediately went to the branch of Axis Bank and complained about it. The ATM was closed after the complaint was not resolved.
On this whole matter, the manager of Axis Bank has told that a complaint has been received from two youths that both of us got stuck in the ATM machine. In which illegal withdrawal of 65 hundred rupees has also been done from one’s account. He said that the matter of tampering with the ATM machine is also being said. Which has been sent to some bank staff to see the ATM machine.
