The matter of taking money from the devotees who come to visit Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham has come to light. It is being told that the employees posted in the temple were taking money from the devotees to give them a touch of Baba.
In fact, on Tuesday, Deputy Collector Shambhu Dayal along with the police team reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. After reaching the Dham, a private security guard posted at Gate No. 4 was found taking money from the visitors in the name of Sparsh Darshan.
During this, when he was interrogated and information was obtained about the people associated with him, it was found that Abhishek, posted as a serviceman in Sulabh Company, is also associated with his team. These people take a hefty amount from any devotee who wants to see Baba’s touch.
After getting information about the money being taken by the outsourcing employee, a case has been registered against both of them at the Chowk police station of Varanasi Commissionerate. After registering a case in this matter, the investigation is being done by the police. At the same time, there is a stir among the employees posted in the temple.
In this regard, the Chief Executive Officer of the temple Sunil Verma told the media that a case has been registered against both the outsourcing employees on behalf of the temple administration for obstructing the work of the temple and taking money from the visitors.
He also said that such people will be investigated in the future as well and the strictest action will be taken by the temple administration against any employee posted in the temple premises who is found involved in such a case.
