Suddenly a passenger train caught fire at the railway station in Betul, Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that more than three coaches of passenger train number 09589 running between Betul to Chhindwara caught fire due to unknown reasons. The incident took place when the train was being brought from the loop line to the platform. Fortunately, there were no passengers on board the train at the time of the incident. At present, the cause of the incident is being ascertained.
According to the information, the passenger train running between Betul to Chhindwara was about to leave for Chhindwara on Wednesday afternoon, when the train was being brought from the loop line and parked on the platform, during which the train caught fire. Please tell that this passenger train leaves for Chhindwara from Betul at 4 pm. For this reason, no passenger was aboard at the time of the incident. Immediately the fire brigade was informed as soon as the fire broke out, but the fire brigade could not reach the railway track.
It is being told that around 3:30 pm, the train was being brought from loot line to platform number one, during which time smoke was seen rising in first one compartment, after that slowly two more coaches caught fire and there was heavy smoke. The flames started rising and were visible from a distance. In no time, 3 and 90 were burnt to ashes. In a hurry, three coaches were removed along with the first engine, after which the other coaches were also separated. There is no information about any loss of life in this incident. Since the incident, the railway administration is refraining from speaking about it, at present the incident is being investigated and the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
People who saw the incident told that the fire was so severe that even after 3 coaches, the fourth coach was gutted. In view of this, an attempt was made to extinguish the fire by laying pipes from the surrounding fields.
