Attack on the team of Excise Department who went to raid: Liquor traders attacked, two injured including jawan

On Monday, the team of the Excise Department had launched a massive raid campaign against the liquor sellers and drinkers. In which the raiding campaign was being conducted by the team of Jamui, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura. During this, as soon as the team of the Excise Department reached the Mahadalit Tola located in Aghara village of Sono police station area, 2 people were arrested. Due to which the local people got angry and surrounded the team of the product department and attacked them with brick sticks. In which two people including a jawan and a driver were injured.

Both were brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. The injured jawan has been identified as Lakhisarai Excise Police jawan Mukul Kumar and driver Subhash Ram. The injured jawan said that under the massive raiding campaign, the team had reached Aghara village under Sono police station area of ​​Jamui district on Monday evening. As soon as 2 people were arrested the local people got angry and the police vehicle was surrounded by around 200 people from all sides. At first, the vehicle was damaged by driving a brick. Later attacked with sticks and sticks in which two people including the jawan were injured.

Somehow the other police cop managed to escape from the spot. But in this attack two people including the jawan were injured while the Scorpio sister was badly damaged. After the incident, the team of excise department reached the police station where the injured were brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Excise superintendent Sanjeev Thakur said that the liquor traders and attackers would not be spared under any circumstances. Legal action will be taken against all by registering an FIR.
