    On Wednesday, Special Judge for Liquor Prohibition ADJ II Vikas Kumar in Civil Court Sheikhpura has issued an arrest warrant against Product Inspector and Inspector of Product Department. The court has issued this order against both the product officers in separate cases. This step has been taken after the liquor ban case was pending for a long time due to not giving testimony in the court.

    Giving information in this regard, Special Public Prosecutor for Prohibition, District Prosecution Officer Sanjay Kumar said that in the month of February 2019, the then excise inspector Vibhuti Bhushan Kishore had arrested Krishna Chowdhary from Kajifattuchak village of Barbigha police station area of ​​the district with country liquor. . During the judicial proceedings in this case, Inspector Vibhuti Bhushan Kishore was summoned through various other means to testify in the court. But he has not yet given his testimony after appearing in the court. Finally being bound, the court has ordered the District Excise Police Station Officer to arrest them and present them for testimony.

    Similarly, in another case, product inspector Shivendra Kumar, who checked liquor seized during raids, has also been ordered to issue arrest warrant for not being present in the court for a long time for testimony. It has been told that due to lack of timely presence of government officers and personnel in the court, the cases are unnecessarily prolonged and the cases are pending in the court.
