After getting the recognition of Apna Dal (Sonelal) as a state-level political party, Union Minister Anupriya Patel was elected the national president of the party for the second time in the first session of the party held on Friday. Speaking at the one-day convention held at the Indira Gandhi Foundation in the capital, Anupriya said that the party is progressing steadily, which remains an eyesore for some.
Anupriya said that it is okay if the opponents protest, but when their own people start protesting, then there is a problem. A conspiracy is being hatched to weaken the party by using the shoulders of our own people. But I’m not going to worry about it.
Municipal elections will also be fought together with BJP
On this occasion, Anupriya said that her party will also contest the municipal elections along with the BJP. Talks are going on with BJP regarding seats in civic polls.
A decision will be taken on this soon. All the party workers are busy preparing for the municipal elections. The party will fight the elections strongly. If there is no agreement on civic elections, then the party is ready to contest the elections alone.

Anupriya said that it took a lot of effort to unite the family. Tried many times. But now we will work to move forward. There was an occasion when Anupriya became emotional. He said that when his father Dr. Sonelal Patel died suddenly, he was suddenly made the general secretary of the party.
Anupriya said that since then there have been continuous efforts to destroy the party, but the party is moving forward. Today Apna Dal S is the third largest party. The way Apna Dal is progressing, the attacks of loved ones are increasing.
