Under the chairmanship of Additional Collector Madhav Kumar Singh, a review meeting was held with all the treasuries, nodal officers and all election officials regarding the preparation of the Municipal General Election-2022 in the Mini Auditorium located at Banka Collectorate. All the office bearers were informed in the meeting that the date of first phase of polling in Amarpur, Bounsi and Katoria Nagar Panchayat under Banka district is fixed by the State Election Commission on 18.12.2022 and the date of counting of votes is fixed on 20.12.2022.

During the review by ADM, information related to preparation was taken from the nodal officer of EVM cell. It was told by the Nodal Officer, EVM Cell that the work of the cell is in progress and all the work related to EVM will be completed in time.

The Nodal Officer, Personnel Cell was directed to re-verify the database of the officials/personnel to be engaged for voting and counting as per the database. All the necessary preparations have been completed as told by the Nodal Officer, Material Cell. The Nodal Officer, Vehicle Cell was instructed that after estimating the number of vehicles to be used for polling, action for acquisition is to be taken and the acquired vehicles are to be entered on the TDJC as per the instructions of the Commission.

The nodal officers of all the cells were directed by the Additional Collector that they will promptly complete the execution of all the works related to their cells. All the works will be reviewed from time to time.

In the meeting, Deputy Development Commissioner Kaushalendra Kumar, Panchayat Raj Officer Satyendra Kumar, District Supply Officer Amalendu Kumar Singh, Officer-in-Charge, District Disaster Branch Shaligram Shah, District Program Officer Sushri Swati, Senior Treasury Officer Amresh Kumar, Deputy Election Officer Angad Prasad Lohra, Land Reform Deputy Collector-cum-Election Officer, Parul Priya, Sub-Divisional Public Grievance Redressal Officer Kiran Kumari, Assistant Election Officer-cum- Block Development Officer, Amarpur, Bounsi, Katoria, District Informatics Officer, Banka, IT Manager and Munmun Kumari etc were present. .
