A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Lodhi Colony, a few km away from the country’s Parliament. Here two youths sacrificed a six-year-old innocent on Sunday night. The accused slit the throat of the innocent with a knife and inflicted several blows on the head. The accused say that Lord Shiva was asking for sacrifice in a dream. For this reason, after the order of Lord Shiva, the child Dharmendra (6) is sacrificed. The local people caught both the accused Bihar resident and Amar Kumar (22) Vijay Kumar (19) and handed them over to the police. Lodhi Colony police station has registered a case and arrested both the accused. The police handed over the dead body of the innocent to the family members on Sunday afternoon after conducting the post-mortem.
According to South District DCP Chandan Choudhary, CRPF Assistant Commandant RK Jhangir informed the police at 12.30 pm on Sunday night that two youths had beheaded a child in the CRPF Headquarter Building complex under construction near CBI Bhawan. Both the youths have been apprehended. After the information, Lodhi Colony police station head Sanjeev Mandal reached the spot along with the team. The child Dharmendra’s neck was severed and there were four-five stab wounds on the head. The accused’s slum was bleeding profusely. Blood-stained clothes and knives of the accused were recovered from the slum. A case was registered at Lodhi Colony police station on the complaint of Ashok Kumar, resident of village Girdharpur, Faisalpur, Bareilly UP, the father of the child.
In the statement given to the police, it has been said that many laborers work on the site under construction. Here the women were singing hymns after dinner at the site under construction. On going home, it was found that Dharmendra was missing. The search for Dharmendra was started. Then it was found that blood was coming out of the slum of the accused. When I went inside and saw Dharmendra’s body was lying under the throne. Local people and CRPF personnel caught the accused from the spot.
Sacrifice is done after accepting the prasad of the innocent.
The accused Vijay Kumar and Amar Kumar had consumed ganja before committing the crime. The accused admitted to killing the child. The accused told Vijay during interrogation that after consuming ganja, he went to the women doing bhajan-kirtan. He asked women for incense sticks to worship Lord Shiva. The women refused to give him incense sticks.
After that he returned to his slum. Then he had a dream that Lord Shiva was asking for the sacrifice of a child. At the same time Dharmendra was going near the slum of the accused. The accused dragged her to the slum. The victim knew the accused earlier. The accused inflicted several blows on the child’s head with a knife used in the kitchen and then slit his throat.
