AIR employee beaten and looted in Purnia: In Kehat area, criminals thrashed fiercely, looted mobile and ring

Fearless criminals are continuously executing incidents in Purnia and the police are seen helpless in front of the criminals. The fearless criminals mercilessly thrashed and badly injured the senior anchor of All India Radio and also carried out a robbery incident with him. The incident took place on Sunday late night near Astha Mandir Rajendra Bal Udhan under Kehat police station area. There was chaos in the area after the incident.

Injured Jayprakash Mishra told that he is a senior anchor in All India Radio. He was going on his scooty late at night after finishing his duty in All India Radio. As soon as Astha Mandir reached near Rajendra Bal Udhan, about 5 people riding on two bikes overtook and stopped the scooty. Till he could understand something, he started hitting with iron rods and sticks. Blood started flowing from the head and he along with Scooty fell on the ground. After that the criminals took the key of the scooty and ran away by snatching gold ring, mobile, cash from pocket and hand bag. People around reached on screaming. By then all the criminals fled.

The local people took the injured to the Medical College Hospital where he was sent home after treatment. The victim has pleaded for justice by giving an application to the SP on Monday. It was told that the place where the incident took place is a very sensitive place. For security, 24-hour police duty has been imposed. Not only this, 112 number mobile patrolling patrol vehicle is standing by for the beat of Ashradhiya. But the patrolling vehicle and police personnel were also missing at the time of the incident.
