Workers left for polling station with EVM
Voting for the first phase of municipal elections in Munger is to be held tomorrow, Sunday, December 18, for various posts in Jamalpur Municipal Council and Tarapur Nagar Panchayat under Munger district. All preparations have been completed by the district administration for peaceful and fair polling. Regarding the election today Munger DM Naveen Kumar and SP Jaggunath Reddy Jalareddy held a briefing with the polling party and polling personnel, police officers and magistrates at DIET Bhawan, Purbasarai. After this, all the polling parties took EVMs to their respective booths. But left. Tomorrow on Sunday, polling will start at all booths from 7:00 am. After this, all the ballot boxes will be kept in the Bajgruh built in the Diet building.

Let us tell you that along with 53 wards of Jamalpur Municipal Council and Tarapur Nagar Panchayat, 129 booths were made in 59 buildings for Chief Councilor and Deputy Chief Councilor. Where 95, 912 voters will decide the fate of 246 candidates. Voting will be held from 7 am to 5 pm. Munger ADM, SP and SDPO briefed the counting personnel, police personnel and officers before going to the polling stations so that there is no problem of any kind at the time of polling tomorrow.
Also, after the briefing, the polling personnel and security personnel have left for the polling stations with their EVMs. SP Jaggunath Reddy Jalareddy told that four layer security arrangements have been made for peaceful elections. More than 700 jawans and more than 50 police officers have been deployed for security.
