Action on OP SHO and Munshi in Purnia: SP suspended both, accused were in the case of taking bribe

Corruption is at its peak in Purnia’s police department. Former SP Daya Shankar and Sadar SHO Sanjay Kumar Singh have been suspended a month ago in corruption and disproportionate assets acquired case. Now SP Amir Javed suspended the police station in-charge of Mohanpur police station OP of the district, Purnima Kumari and police station watchman-cum-munshi Subhash Paswan in the bribery case.

The audio of Mohanpur OP SHO Purnima Kumari and police station’s munshi Subhash Paswan had gone viral. In which the audio of mutual transactions on mobile for taking 2 to 4 thousand rupees from the complainants coming to the police station to complain and removing the names of the criminals from the FIR went viral.

As soon as the video went viral, SP Amir Javed, taking the matter seriously, constituted an investigation team under the leadership of Dhamdaha DSP Ramesh Kumar. When the DSP investigated the viral audio, the matter was found to be correct. As soon as the DSP’s investigation report was received, the SP suspended the police station head Purnima Kumari and Munshi Subhash Paswan. This action has created a sensation in the police department.

There are many such police stations in the district, where the complaint of the complainant is not heard without the bribe. The victims reach the SP to complain. But after all, one has to reach the police station to register the case and after paying tribute, the case is registered. Even before this, two IOs of Dagrova and Sadar police station were caught red handed by the surveillance team taking bribe. There is no hearing without a setting without a scribe.
