Accused absconding to surrender in court: Sasaram dodged in court premises, non-bailable warrant issued

The accused, who came to surrender in the court in the SC-ST case in the Behavioral Court of Rohtas district on Monday, escaped from judicial custody, dodging the court staff after the bail was rejected. During this, there was an atmosphere of chaos in the court for some time.

In the court of Special Judge ADJ Eleven Umashankar, in charge of SC-ST case, in Nowhatta police station case number 44/22, the accused accused Gorakh Yadav resident Jayantipur Tola, Purnadih, Nowhatta had filed a surrender cum bail petition in the court.

The court rejected the bail application of the accused after hearing in the case, after which the accused escaped from the courtroom. When the accused was not found after a lot of searches by the policemen, the court has issued a non-bailable warrant against the accused through SP Rohtas.

Non-bailable warrant issued against two police officers

Hearing in a case related to 16 year old murder, the court of ADJ Solah Sunil Kumar has issued non-bailable warrants against two investigators of the case taking cognizance of not appearing for their testimony. The case is related to session case number 100/2007, whose FIR was registered in Natwar police station case number 43/2006.

The court has issued the said order against Sujit Kumar Chaudhary and Harendra Kumar, the then Inspector cum Investigator of Natwar police station. At present, both the officers are DSP rank officers. On 16 October 2006, Ravi Sah, son-in-law of Kamala Devi resident Saraon Tola, Natwar was murdered and the body was thrown into the local canal.
