Accident in Nalanda, death of a youth: Was returning home, a speeding vehicle hit; Police engaged in investigation

A young man died after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Nalanda on Friday evening. The deceased has been identified as Manish Kumar, 22-year-old son of Arun Kewat, resident of Habibullah Chak village of Chandi police station area.

The family told that the young man was returning home in the evening after closing his mobile shop at Saksohra. Then an unknown vehicle hit the road near Neema Kaul village of Harnaut police station area, in this accident the young man died. The family members allege that the road has been blocked by illegally dumping sand on the main road near Neema Call, due to which this accident has happened.

Those people got information about the accident by the passers-by, after which they reached the spot in a hurry. Harnaut Police Station President said that the dead body was taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital for postmortem late in the evening. By registering a case against the unknown vehicle, the police has started taking further action.
