Father-in-law and son-in-law died in a road accident in Chautham police station area of Khagaria. While returning from the bike after cremating both, the Thar vehicle crushed them on NH 107. As soon as he stumbled, the bike rider fell 20 feet away. The relatives coming behind took the injured to the hospital. The incident happened on late Sunday night. The deceased have been identified as Niranjan Singh, 40-year-old son of late Chamak Lal Singh, ward 1 resident of Bhiriya village of Pipra Panchayat and Rajendra Singh, 60-year-old son of cousin father-in-law late Ayodhya Singh, resident of Ward 5, Telihar Panchayat of Beldaur police station area.
The relatives of the deceased told that the elderly Chamaklal Singh had died suddenly on Sunday morning. Along with hundreds of villagers, went to the Thin Ghat Banni Ganga Ghat of Mansi police station area to perform the cremation. On the cremation late night, everyone left for home in another vehicle, but son-in-law Niranjan Singh and cousin father-in-law Rajendra Singh were going by bike. Meanwhile, on NH 107 of Chautham police station area, near Dheriapur of Teloch village, a speeding uncontrolled Thar vehicle truck was hit from the front while overtaking a bike rider. As soon as there was a push, both the bike riders fell 20 feet away.

Seeing the blood-soaked body, other relatives coming from behind recognized him and took him to the hospital. With the help of local people and family members, the injured was brought to Sadar Hospital. Where the doctor referred after first aid. Both died on the way while being taken to the higher centre. Told that after the death of the father on the same day, there is a mournful atmosphere in the village due to the death of the son. After the incident, the family members are in bad condition by crying. Station Head Manoj Kumar said that the body has been sent to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Engaged in further action.
