Absconding liquor smuggler arrested in Sheikhpura since 2019: Liquor was recovered in huge quantity, arrest made on the basis of secret information

Police arrested both smugglers

In Sheikhpura on Saturday, on the basis of secret information, Hathiawa OP police of Nagar police station area raided and arrested two absconding smugglers who were absconding since 2019. The raid was led by OP President cum Police Under Inspector Bhagwan Prasad. The raiding team included ASI Devendra Prasad and a large number of police forces. Among the smugglers arrested in the police raid, Satish Kumar, son of Lord Ram, resident of Purnakama Colony and Yogindra Ram, son of Banarasi Ram, resident of Sir Maidan village, have been told.

Liquor was recovered in large quantities

In this case, the OP chairman said that in 2019, police raids were done on both the houses. Police had recovered a huge amount of liquor from his house during the raid. During the raid, both the smugglers managed to escape by dodging the police. Since then both of them were living in hiding with the thought of escaping from the police, in relation to which separate FIRs were lodged in the local police station. Arrest warrants were issued against both these absconding smugglers by the court recently. In the light of that both were arrested. Action has been initiated to send the arrested smugglers to police jail.
