A setback for railway passengers before the festival, platform tickets will have to pay such a price

Indian Railway: The number of people traveling by railways is probably the highest in India than in any other country. In this too, the number of people traveling by train during festivals increases further. The festival of Dussehra and Deepawali is near, people are ready to go to their homes. Most of these people take the help of trains to go to their homes, many such people will be shocked to know that now they will have to pay 30 rupees not more than 10 rupees for platform tickets, but three times more than that.

The railway is reasoning behind this that it has done this so that there is no huge crowd at the stations during festivals. These new rates have come into effect from today i.e. from Sunday itself. However, this increase is currently applicable only at 13 stations in UP. These include Charbagh, Varanasi, Ayodhya, Akbarpur, Jaunpur and many railway stations.

Railway employees will get 78 days bonus

The government has given a big gift to the railway employees today. The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved 78 days bonus for railway employees. This will benefit about 11 lakh employees. That is, before this Diwali, the bonus amount will come in the account of 11 lakh railway employees.

11.56 lakh non-gadgeted employees will get benefit

In the cabinet meeting today, the government has announced to give full 78 days salary bonus to non-gazetted employees. After this decision of the government, about 11.56 lakh non-gadgeted employees will benefit. After this decision of the government, an additional burden of 2000 crores will increase on the railways. Talking about the amount of bonus, the limit of salary calculation fixed for PLB payment to eligible railway employees will be Rs 7000 per month. That is, if the salary bonus of 78 days comes in the account, then a maximum of Rs 17,951 will come in the account of the employees.
