The problems of passengers traveling in Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur railway line have increased a lot these days. This problem has arisen due to cancellation and diversion of train due to NI work being done at Sugauli station. Here the crowd of passengers has increased in most of the express trains passing through Narkatiaganj Junction. It is said that the number of passengers is increasing in Saptkranti Superfast, Satyagraha, Gandhidham-Bhagalpur Special, Jannayak, Muzaffarpur Dehradun Express, Avadh Express and Garib Rath Express etc. trains passing through Narkatiaganj Junction. More passengers are forced to travel in these trains than their capacity.

After the arrival of the train at the railway stations, passengers are not getting space to board the train. Passengers are seen struggling a lot to board the train. It is said that from AC bogie to sleeper class was also converted into general bogie. In this, most of the passengers are traveling towards Muzaffarpur and Motihari. It may be informed that rail operations will be affected from December 19 to 28 for the doubling work of Sugauli-Majhaulia section of Samastipur Railway Division. 8 trains have been canceled for pre-NI and NI work on the above section.
Trains starting from changed locations
Train number 15202 Narkatiaganj-Patliputra Intercity Express will depart from Muzaffarpur for Patliputra instead of Narkatiaganj from 25 December to 28 December. Similarly, train number 15216 Narkatiaganj-Muzaffarpur Express will depart from Bapudham Motihari for Muzaffarpur instead of Narkatiaganj from December 24 to 27. Train number 14009 Bapudham Motihari-Anand Vihar Champaran Satyagraha Express will depart from Bettiah for Anand Vihar instead of Bapudham Motihari on 25 December and 27 December. Train number 05288 Raxaul-Muzaffarpur MEMU passenger special will leave Bapudham Motihari for Muzaffarpur from December 25 to December 28 instead of Raxaul.
