In Banka, a 35-year-old youth raped a 10-year-old girl who had gone to the toilet. It is being told that the young man has done a heinous act with an innocent girl under the influence of alcohol. The family members of the house had gone to eat the feast at the wedding ceremony. Taking advantage of this, the incident was carried out.

The case pertains to a village under the Bounsi police station area of ​​Banka. The child is ten years old. The victim girl had gone to the village with her mother to have a feast at a girl’s wedding. On the way the girl stopped to defecate. Mother and other relatives went ahead. Seeing the lonely girl defecating, a 35-year-old youth from the village took advantage of the opportunity and tried to rape the girl forcibly.

The accused is absconding. However, after getting information about the matter, the police has started investigating.

On hearing the screams of the girl, her mother reached the spot. Seeing the mother reaching there, the rapist fled from the spot. The victim’s mother came to the Bounsi police station late on Thursday night and gave a written application accusing Prahlad Das of the village of raping her. Acting on the application, the police reached the village, but the rapist had fled from the house.

The police have taken the victim along with them to Sadar Hospital Banka for medical examination. An FIR has been registered in the matter under 289/22. It is said that the young man was intoxicated. Due to this heinous act, sensation has spread in the district. The police is engaged in the investigation of the case. The police station chief said that the case has been registered. Further action will be taken only after the medical report comes.
