Seeing the crowd of passengers, she stood on platform number one. She was lost in the glare of the junction, meanwhile a woman held her right hand. When the deal was not finalized, the woman told Yasmine to become Nisha, luck will change. Yasmeen became Nisha and the woman took her to Delhi.
Spent one night still no deal
In Delhi, Yasmeen was made to sit in a park near ISBT by handing over an Aadhaar card named Nisha. Called to the park for the likes of many clients, one night in Delhi accompanied by a boy. The deal could not be finalized even after staying for one night. Meanwhile, the deal was finalized in Tithana village of Kaithal, Haryana for 1.70 lakhs. The woman and four youths reached Kaithal with Yasmeen. After taking the money after dealing, the woman handed over Yasmeen to an old man. Played with an elderly girl for several days and then got her married to a young man. Yasmeen, who ran away from home in anger, was sedated with mild intoxicants till the deal was completed. Yasmeen got the mobile after 100 days after getting trapped in the trap of human traffickers, then she told the whole story to the family members. The information came to the Bihar team of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, after which a case was registered on May 15. Case-3: First sold in the name of Roma then Ranu and now Ruby
A 16 year old Muslim girl from Kishanganj was sold three times in 6 months by changing her name and caste. Rakesh Singh of an organization working on the Nepal border to stop human trafficking in Bihar, says that human traffickers sell helpless girls of Seemanchal by changing their caste and religion. A girl from a Muslim family of Kishanganj fell into the hands of human traffickers in search of employment after losing her parents due to prolonged illness. In Kishanganj, he met a woman who sold the girl as Roma through her network spread from Bihar to Chandigarh, after a few days when the girl created pressure, she sold her as Ranu on the pretext of work at a new place, then for the third time as Ruby. Sold in lakhs. The girl was rescued with the help of an NGO in Chandigarh, after which this big revelation came to light. Volunteers of the NGO say that after bringing the girl back to her family members, she was married off at a distant relative’s house in Dumka.
Seemanchal girls are stuck in Chandigarh
A large number of girls from Bihar are trapped in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. According to organizations working in Bihar, more than 12 girls from Kishanganj alone are stuck in Chandigarh. Organization’s volunteer Keshav says that many families of Kishanganj have demanded action from the police. Such families allege that the girls have been sold by luring them into the work of human traffickers. Girls of Purnia and Katihar have also been cheated in the same way. Poverty in Seemanchal and the network of human traffickers are becoming a major reason for this. A national level voluntary organization working on human trafficking is also working on this. It is being told that the organization has contacted top police officers. After the initiative of the organization, it is believed that there will be a big rescue from Bihar to Chandigarh.
Network of human traffickers works in two ways
Along with Bihar, the network of human traffickers active in many states of the country works in 2nd way. Means girls from Bihar are taken to other states and sold, girls from other states are traded in Bihar. This network of traffickers deals with such girls who are ready to leave the family due to one or the other problem. Most of the girls are trafficked in their trap for sex racket. On the pretext of employment, poor and helpless girls are traded in different states of the country.
The network of brokers spread in 8 states including Bihar
A big racket is working in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bengal, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh and Assam which is doing the work of buying and selling girls. Arjit Adhikari, State Coordinator of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, says that till now every rescue has been exposed like this. Such networks are coming to the fore even in new cases. Similar networks have come to the fore in the incident of Jehanabad girl being sold in Haryana. Its wire is completely connected to the sex racket. A girl who has been sold once, hardly returns home. In most of the cases, the girls get trapped in the sex racket. Some are given benches for marriage, some are dealt with racket only for sex racket. Girls from Bihar are mostly being sold in Chandigarh and Haryana.
Dancers running racket in the name of orchestra
Sex racket business is going on in Bihar in the name of orchestra. Dancers are brought from outside for the orchestra, then they are thrown into the business of sex racket. Whatever has been revealed so far in Patna, it has happened only to get the girls into sex racket in the name of orchestra. There have been more than 12 police raids in Patna in a month, in which 16 girls have been recovered. This includes girls from Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Bengal, who are easily brought to Bihar and brought into this business. Patna’s Gulshan is still absconding, 8 girls were recovered after police raided two police station areas. Girls from other states are recovered even during raids in hotels in Patna.
Haryana’s dancer refused, then shot her
The dancers are brought to Bihar and forced to work for the sex racket. The same was done with Haryana’s dancer Sonam Singh. A lot of pressure was put on Sonam, several times customers were sent to her room. She did not get ready, on which she was shot. Although the aim was not correct, the bullet hit the thigh, breaking the thick bone of the leg in two places. Sonam launched a campaign and appealed to artists not to come to Bihar. Sonam went to Haryana after this incident but even today she is getting death threats. Sonam says that the people of Bihar are threatening her repeatedly because she exposed the sex racket after the incident.
A new trend of human trafficking
A new trend of human trafficking has increased rapidly from Bihar, in which people are taken to other states of the country in the name of employment. Smugglers’ vehicles pass through Patna. Minor children are sent from different districts of Bihar to other states. Patna’s SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon says that there is a case of sex scandal in prostitution, but laborers are also being trafficked. Children are taken from Bihar to other states in the name of wages. 8 children have been recovered from Rajasthan. Children have also been recovered from Agra. Anti-trafficking team is working to curb this. The police claim that the information system has been fully activated, so that cases of human trafficking, whether it is being done for flesh trade or for wages, can be completely curbed.
Arjit Adhikari, State Coordinator of Bachpan Bachao Andolan, says that the network of interstate human trafficking is spreading in Bihar. There is a big network of sex racket from Patna to other districts of the state. Agents keep an eye on such girls who have some kind of problem in the family. Agents contact and lure them into sex racket business.
hard to get out
Clinical psychologist Dr. Binda Singh says that it is a bit difficult to mentally pull out girls who are trapped in sex racket or any other unethical work. Most of the girls feel guilty. For this reason, she gets trapped in the trap of depression along with many other mental illnesses. Whole life, girls go on making mistakes even after feeling guilty.
Here, regarding such increasing cases, Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said that raids have been done in many police stations of Patna in four months. Sex racket has been exposed. A team of Anti Human Raid is working in Patna. Hotels and suspicious places are being raided every 15 days. Police is active to stop human trafficking. Raids are being conducted in public places.
