2100 bottles of liquor seized from sugarcane field in Motihari: All smugglers absconding, raids continue to arrest smugglers

Motihari police confiscated a huge quantity of foreign liquor hidden in the sugarcane field, while seeing the police coming, the smugglers managed to escape through the sugarcane field. The case is of Kurum Tola of Sugauli police station area. On Friday, Sugauli SHO Akhilesh Mishra got information that a large consignment of liquor had landed in the sugarcane field of Kurum Tola. After getting the information, a team was formed and raids were conducted in the said sugarcane field, where after seeing the police coming, the smuggler escaped after leaving the liquor.

2100 bottles of liquor of different brands seized

Police recovered 2100 bottles of foreign liquor in Sareh of Kurum Tola of Sugauli. Which was kept in 70 cartoons of different sizes. In which 348 bottles of 750 ml, 1536 bottles of 180 ml, 120 bottles of 375 ml Royale Stage and 375 ml Blue Strong 96 bottles have been recovered. By confiscating the liquor, the police have started taking necessary action. The smugglers will be identified and action will be taken against them.

Sugauli SHO Akhilesh Mishra said that it was reported that a consignment of liquor had landed in the sugarcane field. The liquor was confiscated by raids. The smuggler has been identified. After registering an FIR, raids are being conducted for arrest. The raiding team included SHO Akhilesh Mishra, SI Dilip Singh, Rajkumar Ram, Anuj Singh, Ramgulab Yadav etc.
