    2.5 lakh looted from SBI branch in Samastipur: 6 miscreants came, 50 thousand from the customer with cash, snatched the gold chain from the woman

    The robbery took place from this branch of Karpurigram.

    The miscreants looted two lakh rupees from the cash counter of the bank by storming the branch of State Bank of India located in Karpurigram village of Mufassil police station area. During this, on resisting, the miscreants injured Nandlal Rai in the security case of the bank by hitting him on the head with the butt of a pistol. Apart from this, the miscreants snatched 50,000 gold chains from a customer inside the bank and a female customer who was climbing up the ladder.

    The number of miscreants has been given as 6, who came on three different bikes. Everyone was wearing masks. After carrying out the incident, the fleeing miscreants also fired three-four rounds in the air.

    Police and local people gathered at the spot.

    In relation to the incident, it has been told that around 1:00 pm, six miscreants who came on three different bikes entered inside in the guise of a customer, pointed a pistol at the cash counter and started looting. During this, the bank’s security guard Nandlal Rai caught a crook from behind. On which his other accomplice injured the security guard by hitting him on the head with the butt of the pistol. After which he left her out of fear.

    However, when the surrounding villagers started gathering when there was an uproar, the miscreants snatched the gold chain worth about ₹ 75000 from a customer who came to deposit money and Chandni Wala Sinha of Dadhiya village, who came to collect KYC.

    On the other hand, SP Hriday Kant has also started investigation after reaching the spot. The SP said that till now the matter of looting two lakh rupees is coming to the fore. By the way, the bank officials are reconciling the cash. The boundaries of the district have been sealed and raids have been started to arrest the criminals. The footage of the CCTV cameras installed at the bank and the houses of nearby villagers is being scrutinised.
